I recently started exploring materials that feel more two dimensional, rather than three. Colorful produce bags, screening leftover from my other work, gifted crinoline, and gaskets offer an abundance of variety in texture, color and shape. Usually the size of work has no limits – just depends where my materials take me. This new work holds me to the constructs of 18” x 18” – different – but exciting.
